Fotomoto offers a self-fulfillment option that lets you take care of the printing and shipping on your own by either printing the products yourself or having them made at a 3rd-party lab. When you use this option, Fotomoto doesn't know the status of your order so you need to update it manually. This is important so that your customer will see the correct order status when/if they check.
Select self-fulfillment on the order detail page
- Log in to your Fotomoto Dashboard, then click the Orders tab at the top then click the order number in the list of orders.
- On the order detail page, select the "I will process this order myself" radio button, then click the Submit button and follow any prompts shown.
Print and ship the image(s)
- Click the Update Status button, choose "Printing" from the drop-down menu and click the Add button.
- Print the image or make arrangements to have it printed elsewhere.
- Arrange the shipping for the order and make note of the shipper and tracking number.
Update the status to "Shipped"
- Once the order has shipped, go back to the order detail page, click the Update Status button, choose "Shipped" from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the shipping method and tracking number then click the Add button. A notification email will be sent to your customer automatically to let them know the order was shipped and how to track it.
